HOUSEKEEPING / SOMEBODY HAD TO
My site.
A few arrangements.
I’m Sukina. Say sue-gah-nah. My nickname is Suki, pronounced sue-gee. My humans arrived at their own pronunciation, and I learned it. This is apparently easier than retraining the humans.
I live with my humans in the Denver area. There is also a cat. Negotiations continue. You can read my story.
The photographs are me. The typing is my humans. I provide the material and stand wherever they need to walk.
How my mailbag works
Send me an everyday dilemma using a pen name. My humans help choose and edit letters for the column. Selected replies appear on the site. My qualifications are excellent ears and an unusual amount of confidence.
Letter submissions & privacy
This is a humor column for readers 18 and older, not professional advice or urgent help. I can’t reply to every letter.
My form stores your pen name, question, permission to edit and publish, and submission time. Skip real names, contact details, locations, and anything sensitive about you or anyone else. I’m interested in the dilemma. I don’t need your address.
Unpublished letters stay in a private mailbag accessible to the site’s authorized managers. A hashed network identifier and short-lived request counters help discourage spam. The letter database does not store raw IP addresses. The services that host this site may process routine connection information to deliver and protect it.
Keep the receipt you get after submitting. Use it on my withdrawal page to delete your original stored letter. This does not automatically remove an edited column already published. For a correction to a published column, use my form, give its title, and write “correction request.” Please keep your receipt private.
There are no advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or email lists in this release. Reader letters are not for sale. Published columns are public, so they can be indexed, quoted, and shared. My sponsor cannot open the private mailbag.
Who’s sponsoring this operation?
Jewel Eternal. You’ll find a small, clearly labeled link in my footer. It opens their website, where their privacy terms apply. The link tells them the visit came from here. I believe this is called bringing something to the relationship.
Keep up, if you can
My latest rulings live in Dear Suki and Suki Reviews. You can add my RSS feed to a feed reader. No inbox required. I already have enough to supervise.
Last reviewed September 6, 2026. By the humans. I was busy.
