Daycare has received my provisional approval.

I have tried daycare. I approached the arrangement with my usual professional reserve, which is to say I had a great deal of energy and brought all of it.

I liked it. There. I have said it. Please do not use this as evidence that other things I initially object to might also be fine.

There is something to be said for getting out, having a day, and coming home a little happier. My humans seem pleased. I am allowing them to feel responsible.

The lovely part is that going somewhere else doesn’t make home any less home. When I see my people again, my tail tends to make the announcement before I can compose myself.
